Another Dev video for ya, where I talk about the core mechanics of my upcoming game Myths are 100% True!
Like the title says, here I talk about how we turned Slow GTA Myth Investigations videos from 2008 into a Fast-Paced Twitchy Platformer-Combat hybrid game.
Not a lot of those!

One of the new enemies that hasn't been created yet. Metal clone of the protagonist- always a good trope.

Here's animation plans for the bullet hell enemy I mentioned in the video. Single Cells was their code-name. (also those 5 planned frames weren't enough, i had to draw 2 more to achieve a total of 12 frames cus it didn't work for triple groups.)
And then here's concept art for their final deisgn, Didn't mention it in the video, but the Yume Nikki gif isn't the only inspiration, they're also inspired by a bunch of spirit characters from touhou, and named after Ghost Dancers from Castlevania (10).
